Anna Swan Kon Hai, Biography, History In Hindi, Bella Swan – Anna Gaining Bates was born on 6 August 1846. She died on 5 August 1888. She was also a Canadian woman who was notable for her great stature of 7 feet 11 inches. She was one of the tallest women ever. Her parents were of the average height and worth is Scottish immigrants.

Anna Swan Early Life

Anna Swan was born at Mill Brook, New Annan, Nova Scotia. At her birth, she weighed 16 pounds weighed. She was the third of 13 children all of the others being around average height. She has also grown very rapidly and her mother reported her daughter’s growth rate was phenomenal. On her fourteen birthday, she was 4 feet and 6 inches tall having a weight of 94 pounds. Honor 6th birthday she has been measured as 5 feet and 2 inches tall. On their 11th birthday, she was measured as 6 feet and 4 inches tall. On her 15th Birthday Anna was measured at a height of 7 feet 0 inches. She reached her full height 3 years later.

Anna Swan Circus Career

when she was of 17 she started working with the American showman P.T. Barnum. She lived in Barnum’s American Museum in New York City and on 13 July 1865 she nearly burned today’s when the museum was destroyed by the Fire. The stairs were in the plains and she was too large for escaping through a window. At the time weight was 384 lb. The highest recorded weight was 418 lb or just under 30st. She got help and escaped safely.

She later toured the Western United States which was followed by Europe when she was afraid before Queen Victoria. When visiting a circus in Halifax with Martin Van Buren Bates who was another enormously tall person knowing the Kentucky Giant was traveling. She was supported by the promoter and hired on the spot. The giant couple became a touring sensation and eventually fell in love and they got married on 17th June 1871 in St Martin in the Fields in London.

Anna Swan Later Life

She has retired to Seville, Ohio, where they built a mansion with high ceilings and doorframes. The main part of the house had fourteen football ceilings, while the doors were extra wide and were 8 feet tall. Vivek part of the house was built with an average size for servants and guests.

She had conceived two children with Martin. The first was a girl who was born on 19 May 1872 weighing 18 pounds and died at birth. While touring in the summer of 1878, she was pregnant for the second time. The boy was born on 18 January 1879 and s been survived only 11 hours. He was the largest newborn ever recorded at 18 pounds and 28 inches tall each of his feet was 6 inches long. For this, was posthumously awarded the Guinness World Record.
