Two days later, reports that Rekieta, his wife Kayla and April Imholte, fall creator were arrested started spreading online. The allegations were packed up by a screenshot of their purported arrest record and further packed up when Rekieta took part in a live-streamed Zoom arraignment only the 24th where his charges were read to him by revealing that he could face after 25 years in prison. The charges include the position of drugs, ammunition and firm and child endangerment.

This all seems back to an October 2023 live stream, where Rekieta had shown off a cryptic note which had been sent to him reading “A new host has been chosen”. Along with or not which was a replica of the Chris-Chan’s Sonichu medallion, which Rekieta casually wore around his neck while the stream.
The day before his arrest some Twitter users started joking that Rekieta’s so-called”downfall”, Maine English struggles with drugs as well as alcohol had started because of the Sonichu medallion. The memes suggest that the medallion was cursed, using the factor that all his problems have been came to light in the month that followed him wearing the medallion. Of course, there is no reality to these and it is all just speculation and coincidence for the sake of the meme.
